Central Wyoming School of Nursing

Meet the nurses from this location:

Central Wyoming College (CWC) was established in Riverton in 1966 as one of seven community colleges in Wyoming.  CWC is a public institution serving primarily Fremont County with educational responsibilities for Teton County and Hot Springs County.  The CWC service area has a diverse landscape, including the famous Teton and Wind River Mountains, as well as the largest unfenced area in the United States, the Red Desert.  Riverton is located within the boundaries of the Wind River Indian Reservation, home to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapahoe Tribes.  The Central Wyoming College Associate Degree Nursing Program is fully approved and accredited by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. CWC nursing graduates have a high success rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX®-RN). The average pass rate over the past 27 years is 94 percent.
